Gamers everywhere have a new reason to rejoice; the first ever independent Korean gaming exhibition-cum-festival called Busan Indie Connect (BIC) is all set to debut at the Busan Cultural Content Complex on September 11 and 12, 2015.
A collaborative effort by Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, Korea Mobile Games Association, and the Indie Ra game developer community, the festival will not only showcase more than 80 new games including GALAK-Z, RETSNOM, and Moon Hunters, but also the platforms they are compatible with, such as mobile, PC, console, VR, board games, etc. Some of the games to be presented at the exhibition include the following. The exhibition will also showcase the best of gamers in Korea and in the international India arena and even distribute awards in various categories like Innovation Award, Design Award, Audio Award, Visual Award, and the BIC Fest Grand Prix Award for the best games presented during the festival.
Apart from all this, there will be conference sessions, display of games, networking and exchange of ideas and culture among the participants, interaction with expert developers, media, publishers all at the festival and the following after dark party of Hauendae Beach near the venue where people can enjoy authentic Korean street delicacies like kimbab (rice rolls), oden (fish cake), tteokbokki (Stir-fried rice cake), and soondae (Korean sausage), etc.
